10th International Day of Yoga at Air Force Technical College

Bengaluru. Yoga, regarded as a profoundly transformative disciple, symbolizes the exquisite alignment of mind and body, the delicate equilibrium between thought and action, and cohesive fusion of restraint and fulfillment. In recognition of its profound potential for metamorphosis, the 10th observance of the International Day of Yoga was fervently commemorated at Air Force Technical College (AFTC) on June 21, under the poignant banner of ‘Yoga for Women Empowerment’.

A gathering exceeding 200 Indian Air Force personnel alongside the cherished families affiliated with AFTC enthusiastically participated in the International Day of Yoga to mark the event as a day to rejuvenate their physical and mental prowess. Among the distinguished attendees were Air Commodore Ashutosh Shrivastava, Commandant, AFTC, Mrs. Shweta Shrivastava, President Air Force Families Welfare Association (Local) and other senior functionaries.

The occasion was enriched with meticulously curated itinerary encompassing fundamental Kriyas, accompanied by a sequence of Asanas and Pranayama, ultimately culminating in a solemn collective affirmation (Sankalpa) and devotional prayer, fostering an atmosphere of holistic rejuvenation and spiritual communion.
