A silver medal and a diploma of excellence for RUAG at the WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan
At the WorldSkills 2019 professional championships in Kazan, Russia, the two young RUAG talents performed outstandingly. Lukas Muth won the silver medal in CNC turning. Simon Herzog finished 14th in the construction and building technology competition and received an excellence diploma for his outstanding work. RUAG is very proud of these placings and congratulates the two on their success.
The WorldSkills 2019 took place in Kazan, Russia from 23 – 27 August 2019. A total of 1500 participants from 77 nations took part in the competitions in 50 professional fields. Switzerland travelled to Kazan with 41 young talents and achieved a total of 16 medals and 13 diplomas of excellence. In the overall ranking, Switzerland took third place at this year’s WorldSkills.
RUAG is very proud that the two RUAG participants are among this year’s winners and have thus made an important contribution to the success of the Swiss national team. Lukas Muth won the silver medal in the polymechanics CNC turning competition with an outstanding performance. Simon Herzog received a diploma in the construction and building technology competition and one of 13 excellence diplomas in his category due to his outstanding work.
