Mumbai, December 1. As part of the Annual admin Inspection of NCC Directorate Maharashtra, Rear Admiral Puneet Chadha, VSM ADG(A), HQ DG NCC visited NCC Directorate, Maharashtra HQ at Mumbai on December 1, 2022. He was given a Guard of Honour by the Cadets of 6 Maharashtra Bn NCC, Mumbai. He was then briefed on the activities conducted by NCC Directorate Maharashtra. The Officer also interacted with the ANOs and Cadets of the Directorate at Rane Hall.
The Admiral appreciated the excellent performance of Cadets of Maharashtra Directorate in various competitions held at DG NCC level. He also praised the participation of the Cadets in Puneet Sagar Abhiyan which has garnered the attention of the entire country.
The Officer thereafter called on the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Mr. Bhagat Singh Koshyari at the Raj Bhavan and had a brief discussion on the NCC activities in the State.
During his visit to Maharashtra the Officer will also be visiting the NCC Unit in Nashik on December 2 and NCC Gp HQ Pune on December 3, 2022.
