Passing Out Parade at NCC OTA, Kamptee

Nagpur. 492 Cadet Training Officers (CTOs) of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Senior Division passed out from the folds of NCC Officers Training Academy at Kamptee, Maharashtra on October 9, 2024.

The Parade was reviewed by Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, AVSM, VSM, AOC-in-C Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force. The passing out course displayed high standards of drill as they marched smartly to the martial tunes played by the Military Band of Mahar Regiment Centre, Saugor.

All CTOs are college Professors and Lecturers representing all States and Union Territories of India and the parade epitomized “Discipline and Unity”, the motto of Nation Cadet Corps. The CTOs went through a rigorous training programme of 75 days which covered Drill, Physical training, Leadership, Personality and Community Development & Disaster Management.

On successfully completing this course the CTOs received their NCC commission and became proud Associate NCC Officers (ANOs).

The Reviewing Officer in his address urged the passing out ANOs to uphold the ethos, aims and objectives of the NCC and contribute towards effective Nation Building by shaping the young minds and molding the NCC cadets to become responsible and dynamic citizens of our country. He also exhorted the ANOs to be role models for the NCC cadets in particular and the society at large.
