Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Headquarters Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force Visited Equipment Depot, Air Force Station Bengaluru

Bengaluru, October 15. Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force, visited Equipment Depot, Air Force Station Bengaluru from October 12 to 14, 2024. He was accompanied by Mrs. Ritu Garg, President, Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional). They were received by Air Commodore Manoj Kumar, Air Officer Commanding, Equipment Depot, Air Force Station Bengaluru and Mrs. Abha Sharma, President, Air Force Families Welfare Association (Local).

The Air Officer Commanding briefed the dignitary on various functional aspects of the Depot. The Air Marshal laid foundation stone of modern residential accommodation for officers. He also carried out tree plantation in Depot premises as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’ campaign. During his interaction with depot personnel, he appreciated their efforts and urged them to maintain high professional standards. He also visited Gagan Vihar, the domestic camp of Equipment Depot and reviewed various welfare activities/projects.
