Director General Indian Coast Guard Visited Gandhinagar for DefExpo 2022

Director General VS Pathania, PTM, TM Director General Indian Coast Guard (DGICG) visited Gandhinagar on October 18 for attending DEFEXPO-22 scheduled at Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar from October 18 to 22. The DGICG visited the exhibition halls at HEC and Static Display at Sabarmati River Front  (SRF)  Eastern Bank where ICG stall has been established.  The DGICG also attended Live Demo at SRF Western Bank in the evening wherein two ICG ALH MK-III helicopters demonstrated the procedure Search and Rescue operation.

During the visit, the Director General interacted with various exhibitors and stake holders to take stock of emerging technologies to the Defence Arena.

As part of DEFEXPO-22, ICG is also coordinating another event at Porbandar with Navy wherein Ships will be made open for visitors and an operational demonstration of various assets and charter of duties of ICG will be conducted, The Director General also reviewed the preparations for the event at Porbandar and was briefed by Regional Commander.
