Mumbai, August 18. Director General Rakesh Pal, PTM, TM, Director General Indian Coast Guard (DGICG) alongwith Mrs Dipa Pal, President Tatrakshika are on their maiden visit to Headquarters, Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard) at Mumbai from August 17-19, 2023.
The DGICG inspected a ceremonial guard and troops at the Command Divisions held on August 18, 2023 at the Headquarters, Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard), Worli, Mumbai. He also reviewed the overall ‘Operational’ preparedness and progress on the infrastructure development works of Western Seaboard in the presence of ADG KR Suresh, Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard), IG MV Baadkar, Commander Coast Guard Region (West), AK Harbola, Commander Coast Guard Region (North West) and other senior officers. The DGICG also interacted with the officers, men and civilian staff during Barakhana and President Tatrakshika interacted with ladies of ICG fraternity.
The DGICG also called on Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra on August 18, 2023 at Raj Bhavan. An official reception will also be hosted for the Director General by Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard) prior departure to New Delhi on August 19, 2023.
