New Home, New Start, New Route unveiled for the 2024 Edition
And Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground is no different. With support from the Indian Army, Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area, The iconic, Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade ground in the heart of the city of Bengaluru, will now be the new home for the TCS World 10K Bengaluru event.
The 16th edition of the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) World 10K Bengaluru scheduled for Sunday, April 28, is poised to welcome, for the first time over 30 thousand participants that also includes Military personnel who will be participating in large numbers.
Thanking Major General Ravi Murugan, AVSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area, for providing the venue to host the event, Vivek Singh, Joint MD, Procam International, said that the new home for the event, the iconic Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade ground, would help accommodate the large participation of over 28 thousand enthusiastic runners from the City of Bengaluru.
He said that the TCS World 10K has retained its appeal, its global position and its youthfulness, and exuded confidence that with the new home, new route, the event this year would be the most memorable one.
Sunil Deshpande, Regional Head, TCS Bengaluru said the response from the running community to the 16th edition of TCS World 10K Bengaluru has been phenomenal.
The Passion and dedication displayed by the runners as they come together to push their boundaries and showcase incredible endurance is truly inspiring, Deshpande said.
