Kolar District Veterans Interaction Meet by Regional Centre ECHS Bangalore
Bengaluru, September 18. The Regional Centre ECHS Bangalore, which is the nodal agency for all the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinics in Karnataka State, has scheduled a Veterans Interaction Meet in Kolar on September 22, 2024. The objective of the meet is to provide awareness to all the Ex-Servicemen and their dependent families of Kolar District and adjoining areas on the existing polices and procedures of ECHS for availing medical treatment.
Staff from the Regional Centre would cover the procedures and processes related to ECHS membership cards, availing medical treatment through ECHS at Empanelled Hospitals, Emergency admissions in Non-Empanelled Hospitals and other issues of Medical Claims etc in detail. A lecture on Cardiac and Life Style Diseases and their prevention and Dental Hygiene are also planned in the meet. The meet will be an effective platform for veterans to have a greater understanding of the ECHS policies and to dispel the doubts they have about their entitlements under the scheme. Concluding part of the meet will have an open house for the veterans to clarify any doubts they have. A group photo of the event is also planned.
The venue of the meet is Suvarna Kannada Bhavana, Opposite to Hope Hospital, Near ETCM Hospital Circle, Kurubarapete, Kolar. About 200 to 250 Veterans along with their dependent family members are expected to attend the meet. The meet is organized by ECHS Polyclinic Kolar and Kolar District Ex-Servicemen Trust. The meet will culminate with lunch, which is sponsored by the Kolar District Ex-Servicemen Trust.
