Naval Aircraft Yard Marks Another Milestone

Kochi. The Naval Aircraft Yard (Kochi), one of the premier industrial establishments of the Indian Navy at Naval Base here, has added another feather to its cap by rolling out of the 50th Pegasus engine, post overhaul on December 22, 2014. The Rolls Royce Pegasus engine powers the mighty Sea Harriers, the most successful fighter of the Naval Air Arm acquired along with the Aircraft Carrier, INS Viraat in 1987.
