Qantas to Purchase eight 787-9 Dreamliners

Sydney. Qantas has announced its intent to purchase eight 787-9 Dreamliners.

Dr Dinesh Keskar, senior vice president, Asia Pacific & India Sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said in a statement: "We are honored that Qantas has selected the 787 for its fleet renewal plan and to build upon on our long-standing relationship. The Dreamliner is the perfect fit for Qantas’ new long-haul fleet, providing them with superior economics, flexibility and capability.” When finalized, the order will be posted to the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website, the company said.
