Passing Out Parade of 2nd Batch of Agniveervayu Trainees held at Air Force Station Jalahalli

Bengaluru, February 2. The Passing-Out Parade of 2nd Batch of Agniveervayu was held at Air Force Station Jalahalli on February 2.

The impressive parade was held after the successful completion of specialized training in the various sub-streams. More than 700 Agniveervayu with 42 Agniveervayu (women) successfully completed their specialized training in the batch.

The successful Agniveervayu will now be posted to different units across the Indian Air Force (IAF). These trainees were recruited into the lAF as part of the Agnipath Scheme.

The parade was reviewed by Air Commodore Sarabjit Singh Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jalahalli. The Reviewing Officer (RO)presented trophies to the meritorious trainees who have performed exceedingly well in their respective streams.

The RO also congratulated the parents of the successful trainees. In his address to the successful trainees, RO stressed on the need to strive for the best efforts as future of the nation’s security requirements entails professionals of the highest order.

The intense training programme was designed to equip the trainees for future warfare. The professional acumen as per specified field of work and military bearing with disruptive training philosophy were major part of the training.
