Passing Out Parade of 3rd Batch of Agniveervayu Trainees held at Air Force Station Jalahalli

Bengaluru. On successful completion of specialized training in the various sub-streams, an impressive Passing-Out-Parade of 3rd batch of Agniveervayu trainees was held at Air Force Station Jalahalli on August 2. More than 1900 Agniveervayu including 146 Agniveervayu (women) successfully completed their training. The parade was reviewed by AVM RV Ram Kishore VSM SOA TC, IAF. These Agniveervayus, recruited into the Indian Air Force (IAF) as part of the Agnipath Scheme, will be posted to different units across the IAF.

Prior to the stream based specialized training at Electronics Training Institute, Communication Training Institute and 16 TETTRA School (Jalahalli), these trainees have undergone intense basic phases of training at Airmen Training School Belagavi. The training curriculum is aimed at equipping the young aspirants into battle ready warriors. The professional acumen as per specified field of work and military bearing with disruptive training philosophy was a major part of their training.

Later, the Reviewing Officer (RO) addressed the gathering and complimented the passing out trainees. He exhorted the trainees to keep honing their professional knowledge domain besides keeping themselves abreast with ever evolving technological advancements. The RO also presented trophies to the meritorious trainees of different streams who had performed exceedingly well in their respective streams.
