Passing Out Parade of Technical Officers held at Air Force Technical College Bengaluru
Bengaluru. Air Marshal CR Mohan, Air Officer-in-Charge Maintenance (AOM), IAF inspected the ceremonial Passing-Out-Parade (POP) of the officers of 103 Aeronautical Engineering Course (AEC) at Air Force Technical College (AFTC) on September 7, 2024. The POP marked successful completion of 62 weeks of rigorous training wherein more than 60 engineering officers including 15 women officers and 10 officers from friendly foreign countries graduated from the College. Air Marshal CR Mohan, who is also the Commodore Commandant of the College, was received by Air Commodore Ashutosh Shrivastava, Commandant AFTC.
The prestigious ‘Sword of Honour’ for first in the order of merit was awarded to Flying Officer Arpit Tiwary and the ‘President’s Plaque’ for the best officer in professional subjects awarded to Flying Officer P Divya Bharathi. ‘The Chief of Air Staff Medals’ for being first in the order of merit in electronics and mechanical streams were awarded to Flying Officer Shreeya Hemant Sail and Flying Officer Shivi Singh respectively.
Congratulating the graduating officers, the Air Marshal emphasised the vital role of engineering officers towards seamless availability of the aircraft, and other weapon systems. He exhorted the officers to constantly upgrade their knowledge and skills to undertake the professional challenges while maintaining the work life balance.
