Russian Ambassador Presented With Order of Friendship
Moscow. Chief of Staff of the Russian President, Mr Sergey Ivanov has been awarded the Order of Friendship to Mr Alexander M. Kadakin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India. The ceremony took place in St. Catherine’s Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
The Russian Envoy’s accomplishments in making Russian-Indian strategic partnership stronger are well-known in both the countries and abroad. For decades, Ambassador Alexander Kadakin has been tirelessly working to boost mutually beneficial cooperation and promote better understanding between the two nations both in his official capacity and, through his writings, as a highly professional scholar of India. He has done a lot for spreading Hindi as an official means of communication.
The Order of Friendship is a high national decoration bestowed on citizens for outstanding contributions to consolidation of friendship and cooperation between nations and peoples, for exceptional achievements in Russia’s economic and scientific potential development, for the most productive activities promoting rapprochement and mutual enrichment of cultures of various nationalities and races, for fostering peace and friendly relations among countries.
