Israeli navy chief visits Southern Naval Command

Kochi. Israeli Navy Commander-in-Chief Vice Admiral Ram Rutberg accompanied by his spouse Mrs Michal Rutberg visited Indian naval facilities in Kochi from August 26 to 27.

 

Admiral Rutberg visited the Indian Navy training facilities of Southern Naval Command and Indigenous Aircraft Carrier under construction at Cochin Shipyard (CSL).

The visiting Navy Commander also had a meeting with Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba, PVSM AVSM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command and discussed issues of common interest to both the navies including Joint Maritime Cooperation.

Earlier, the Admiral had visited the naval establishments at Goa, Mumbai and Delhi prior to arriving at Kochi.
